My name is Qi Liu. I grew up in a small town in Jiangxi province, before pursuing my undergraduate studies at Xiamen University. My previous research projects focused on correlative signaling mechanisms underlying cellular energy metabolism and cancer cell metastasis. Currently I am working as a research assistant in the Li Lab at Zhejiang University.

In my spare time, I enjoy science fiction and mystery novels and movies, as they inspire me to reflect on humanity, rationality, responsibility and the future.

My research Interest:

  1. Relationship between metabolites and neurodegenerative disorders, like Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
  2. Roles of metabolites during the initiation and progression of cancer.
